Hi, I am Alanah Brown

I'm the owner of Alanah Brown Photography based in Whanganui, I packed up my life in Auckland and moved to the small city of Whanganui with my husband and three little ones and our cat Vincent. I'm in love with all things art, DIY, people, the beach, the countryside, the garden, red wine on weeknights, my family, treats, watching my garden grow and our retro caravan.

Alanah Brown Photography is a reflection of what I know and what I see.

Fine art, lifestyle, commercial, editorial, and weddings and now I am introducing family sessions. With a background in the arts and a love for storytelling, I create fresh, timeless imagery. I have a delicate eye and a thoughtful style that will complement your story.

Although I am in Whanganui and the wider Manawatu I am always travelling here and there. I have photographed weddings and commercial projects all around New Zealand and Internationally.
