I’m a hopeless romantic who believes in the idea of people expressing their ultimate love and commitment to each other in a ceremony. I love a great wedding!

It’s a wonderful feeling to know that you’ve both found the person who really ‘rocks your world! But not everyone uses those words, of course, as relationships, love and marriage are all very personal, very unique, to each of us.

As is the type of wedding we want and the celebrant who will best help us make our wedding day a special one. Other than a few critical legal sentences, the majority of the marriage ceremony can be tailored to your needs.

While each wedding may be different, there are three things that I think always matter – the day is everything you hoped it would be; you got to say the words that really mattered to you; and everyone goes away saying “wow, that was a really cool wedding”. That’s where I come in…

By profession, I’m a communicator, events manager, presenter and general "meet and greet" kind of people-centric guy. I’m a writer and poet and know how to help people tailor and authentically deliver key messages, succinctly. I also understand the drama and theatrics of a major or small event – that the impact, the delivery and the look and feel need to be in place and delivered.

I’m comfortable (some might say I love it!) speaking in front of large groups and people tell me that I have a natural, entertaining, flexible and well-timed delivery. I’m also inherently aware that as a facilitator I need to balance out my involvement to ensure the light shines on the main players – you! - people don’t want a celebrant who is the centre of attention.

I also inherently understand how to make an event memorable and take your ideas and help bring them to fruition.

Lastly, having been responsible for managing a range of significant events over the years – including at Parliament - I fully understand the need to deliver a service as promised to people on their special day – at the right time, right place, in the right way – every time, without fail. And if it’s a small casual ceremony you're after ...cool!... I'm there too!
