The Old Mill Napier

Tucked away in the historic brick buildings of the Napier Woollen Company’s Mill is a unique venue waiting to be discovered!

Set in a valley of majestic gum trees on Napier’s hill, the songs of our resident birds fill the air.

Hidden within the 1923 façade is a delightful brick courtyard garden full of flowers and lush greenery- it is ideal for smaller weddings of up to 100 guests in the garden with seating for 70 in the restaurant downstairs. The surrounding buildings were built in 1902 and all are in the NZ Historic Places Trust. We welcome you to celebrate here & let us help you create your day to be remembered!

Hold your ceremony in the courtyard garden, Or you may choose to arrive after you are married, and relax with your guests while you enjoy a glass of bubbles, wine or beer in the garden. Later, move downstairs to the warm, candle-lit atmosphere of our character-filled dining room (which you have decorated as you like it, the day before). A gourmet buffet meal is served before the evening winds up with dancing ‘till late.

We have a variety of packages from the fully-catered gourmet buffet with complimentary drinks for 2 hours with bar service, to self-catered and bring your own alcohol. Just get in touch and we can send the options over.
