We took an initial tour of the venue and I completely fell in love with it - the Kowhai glade and the gorgeous white rotunda, which is set in a beautiful native bush dream-like setting.

There was a perfect wet weather option in the pavilion, and the beautiful reception room sealed the deal for us. We didn’t look at any other wedding venues because we knew Tui Hills was the perfect place for us to get married. We went with the Classic Plus wedding package and the amazing staff did all the setup and styling on the day - a huge stress off our minds; we just had to pick a colour scheme and let them know any additional styling touches, and they took care of the rest.

I remember walking into the reception area after getting ready in the Tui Suite and just being blown away by how beautiful it all looked. It was so stress-free and they truly made our dream wedding come to life.

On our wedding day the venue looked stunning! The table settings were better than I could have imagined (is it weird that I absolutely loved the small bread plates? haha). The venue florist did such an amazing job of matching the table florals to the bouquets.

The food.....jeepers it was so good. I could have just eaten the canapes for the rest of my life and I would be one happy camper! I have had feedback from guests who had ordered the pork belly and say that it was the best pork belly they have ever had. It was such a hit!

We absolutely fell in love with Tui Hills at first sight! It 100% fitted with our nature-inspired wedding. The native trees and bush surrounding the venue is so, so beautiful and we LOVED the modern, lush design of the Nectar Room as well.

We also loved how we had options if it was a rainy day and how everything was at the same location! The food was delectable and our guests wouldn’t stop raving about the menu! The staff were uber helpful and made the whole experience stress free and enjoyable. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Stephanie Moodley 2020 Our guests couldn’t believe how well organised everything was, the beautiful location and scenery, how delicious the food was, the friendly staff and how the drinks just kept on coming.

For us as a couple the biggest thing was that we didn’t need to worry about anything! Everything went smoothly and everyone was well looked after. And there were so many little details that made a huge difference, such as a mirror at the entrance - so good to make sure everything was in place before walking down the aisle - as well as having a drink waiting for us once the ceremony was completed.

Ashley Schellingerhout 2020 Food was delicious and we loved the family vibe that the BBQ option we chose gave (where guests served themselves from shared plates), so everybody could get what they wanted. Service was top notch - guests were walked into the ceremony area under umbrellas by Tui Hills staff, such a thoughtful and lovely touch.

I loved that we didn’t have to worry about moving to the plan B location (as it rained on our wedding day), all the moving of furniture etc was done by staff and even changing back to the tables and chairs after the ceremony was seamless and smooth.

Marieke was great to work with - very flexible when we wanted to change things or add things in at the last minute.
