Flaxmill Bay (or Maramaratotara Bay) is a sheltered bay situated between Cooks Beach and Ferry Landing on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula.

Drive time from Auckland or Hamilton is about 2.5 hours and the general area is a popular holiday destination known for its beaches, great fishing and boating spots and beautiful scenery.

The Flaxmill property is located at the start of Flaxmill Bay (just past Cooks Beach), adjacent to the stunning Flaxmill Bay beach. Our location makes us a fantastic base from which to explore the region’s many highlights.
