Rose & Smith was named in honour of the “Rose & Smith Builders” who built the newly renovated Racecourse Tea House in 1923.

Almost a century later in 2017 Paula Bevege, with the help of the Wairarapa Racing Club, restored the Tea House to it’s former glory for the beginning of a new era.

Rose & Smith opened in 2018 as the Wairarapa’s premier Wedding & Events venue.
