To be married in front of family and friends is to make a public declaration of your love for and commitment to each other.
My role is to work with you to create a unique ceremony which will reflect you as a couple. I will guide you through the entire process (including all legal aspects) and deliver you a heartfelt ceremony on this your special day.
My style is warm and relaxed but with a passion and respect for ceremony. I like your ceremony to reflect the love you share so all that attend realise they have been part of something very special and that your wedding day is everything you ever dreamed it would be.
Born in Scotland and emigrated to New Zealand. I am a New Zealand Citizen and proud to be so - a Scottish Kiwi. Located in Clevedon I have a strong local focus. However, I would be delighted to officiate at ceremonies in the greater Auckland area.
"Thank you for your help in organising our wedding ceremony. We are very grateful for all your assistance and we were pleased to have shared our special day with you. You gave us ample freedom to design a ceremony which was very personal. funny and that reflected us. We are still getting feedback from our guests that it really was 'our wedding' Our friends and family just loved the asking for their support, which you suggested we incorporate in our ceremony. Thank you again for all that you did for us on our wedding day." - Aaron & Theresa
"Val met us and we basically told her how we as a couple came to choose marriage as a witnessed expression of the joy we have in freely committing to spending the rest of our days together. The best thing at that introductory meeting was that she listened. That became evident when Val spoke at the service capably individualising our ceremony. Val offered us the most personal and happiest day we had literally not planned for. We planned a thank you party for our local fire brigade and friends who supported us when our house burned down. We planned to get married the afternoon of the party with just a few witnesses. What happened was a squillion wishes-come- true one after the other that turned a special day into a memorable day for everyone." - Jackie and James
