Riccarton House and Bush / Pūtaringamotu is a unique New Zealand heritage site consisting of two historic buildings, flanked by beautiful open parkland and ornate gardens, bordered by Ōtākaro / Avon River and set against extensive native bush forest featuring kahikatea trees up to 600 years old. This tranquil 12-hectare reserve is located just 3.5 km from Christchurch city centre.

From ceremonies to receptions, Riccarton House, Christchurch is the perfect venue for your wedding day.

The Drawing room can accommodate up to 64 guests for a seated reception or up to 130 for a standing style reception which makes the most of the entire ground floor of the house & gorgeous outdoor spaces.

Wedding ceremonies can take place either outside or indoors, with many stunning backdrops to choose from.
